Description
Its Electronics Inc. supplies advanced electronics to commercial, government and defence customers across the globe. Their microwave solid state power amplifiers (a.k.a. SSPAs) and subsystems for high reliability satellite communications and terrestrial satellite communications applications operate in the L, X, Ku, Ka, and Q bands. Their solid state power amplifier in the Ka band claims to be the highest in the industry.
Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components are one of the key aspects of the "new space" drive to commercialization of space. By increasing reliability of components while driving costs down, economies of scale create the dynamics democratizing space.
