Chatterry SMS GIF Review

Chatterry SMS GIF Review

I stumbled across @norahsakal today and got inspired.

She's created a gif generator for simulated SMS conversations. After using it to market her own product she turned it into a stand-alone service, selling the gif outputs.

The 1-page site announcing the product has three sections: Why?, How?, and Pricing with a CTA in the top-right corner.

Buying Types

From her online presence and the quick way she built this, Norah is clearly Action Taker and this CTA placement is great for that type of buyer. The other three sections a great accommodations to the Researcher type. Creating a second offering would help bargainers to feel they have choices. The examples are really terrific and adding some kind of social proof would help Group Buyers to really feel at home.

Assets to Income

Chatterry's main asset is a package of 4 simulated SMS conversations rendered as GIFs. These can be easily used on social media, embedded in websites, etc. The product is sold on Gumroad.

  • Reach is developed through advertising on Twitter and the website, creating a nice funnel.

  • Reputation is medium:
quality is high -- the website looks great and the offer of 4 different formats is useful -- but
consistency is medium -- the Gumroad page has a different offer (10/\(20) than the web page (4/\)15)

  • Relationships can be grown through collecting email addresses via Gumroad orders and inquiries to info@chatterry.com.

Overall, a terrific project and we wish Norah great success!
