Description
Leap Biosystems is a coast-to-coast collective bringing together professionals from fields as diverse as medicine, aerospace, research, and engineering. The company applyies multidisciplinary approaches to create disruptive technologies. Focusing on next generation medical devices, they hope to disrupt the Canadian medical status quo and improve astronaut medical training.
Leap Biosystems develops and tests 2-way communication that projects the participants into each other's spaces. Such communication better supports doctor/patient interactions, providing richer information. While space is one obvious application, another is rural and remote medicine.
