An important way that space research and exploration is of immediate and practical benefit to Canadians is the application of results to remote communities. Especially in the area of health, Canadians have already seen important dividends from programs like the CSA's Health Beyond.

CSMC will be delivering a concept for a modular medical clinic that can be delivered to First Nations and remote communities in Canada. We believe we can deliver key technology which that positively impact the lives of people, and provide critical infrastructure in a scaleable way that addresses the immediate need to improve the delivery of health services in Canada. This closely aligns with CSMC's philosophy of building dual-use technologies that fill long term gaps in space, but have an immediate need and market on earth.

It takes a village though, and CSMC has assembled a diverse team of partners (to be announced) to build this first prototype, and scale this healthcare business well beyond that, including the considerations in real estate, technology, healthcare, and First Nations.
