Description
The Space Simulation Services of Canada Corporation (SSSCC) provides environmental simulation to satellite and aerospace operators. It's too late to find problems once satellites are on orbit; there are often no good fixes for things going wrong hundreds of kilometers in space. So, finding and fixing problems on the ground before launch is crucial.
Space Simulation Services provides testing services where a satellite can be put through thermal vacuum testing with remote viewing of data. Their facilities offer turnkey testing solutions, allowing operators to put their testing budget to good user, rather than building facilities. Clients can also draw on the company's experience with consulting services.
!
Satellite simulation services will become increasingly important as startups enter the satellite sector. Just like off-the-shelf components reduce costs and allow for more experimentation, standardized ground-basted testing before launch will reduce the risk of a craft working poorly on orbit.
